Systems for remote measurement in power engineering
Hudec, Lukáš ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
The work deals with the measurement and management in power. Provides an introduction to the problems of remote meter reading, management, and describes the current situation in the field of modern technologies Smart metering and Smart grids. It also analyzed the issue of collection of networks and data collection from a large number of meters over a wide area. For the purpose of data transmission are described GPRS, PLC, DSL, ... Further, there are given options to streamline communication. This area is used hierarchical aggregation. Using k-means algorithm is a program designed to calculate the number of concentrators and their location in the group of meters. The finished program is written in Java. It has a graphical interface and shows how the calculation is conducted. To verify the results of the optimization program is given simulation model in OPNET Modeler tool. Audited results are described in the conclusion and can deduce that using the optimization program is to streamline communications.
Study of Power Plant Connection to Power Network
Sýkora, Martin ; Kurfűrst, Jiří (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
It is necessary to judge the influences of producers on the electric compounds while creating electrical energy or during the regulation of those existing. These analyses are sorted out by so called studies of connectivity. These calculations analyze the degree of connection of the producer and the standby unit during a break-down. The results of this report are several recommendations for creating such unit and succeeding steps leading to secure the stability and safety of the electric compound operation. The aim of this thesis is to discuss about software for PC solutions for static and dynamic network model, to draft power outlet into a network of generating high voltage, to complete a study of connectivity with respect to all the distortion factor, as increased voltage, inrush current at startup, flicker, harmonic currents, interference ripple, contribution to short-circuit current, reactive power control options, and demands for compensation.
Analysis of Smart Grid devices
Kolacia, Tomáš ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
This work deals with smart grids and smart metering in power grids. The first part of the thesis is focused on the comparison between classic topology of electrical grid and smart grid concept including the benefits, which could be achieved. The other parts of smart grid concept are described as well, such as energy storage and electromobility including charging points infrastructure. The second part of the thesis deals with smart metering devices and it describes routing protocols for smart grids. The following chapters summarize practical experience with addressed issues in Europe and in the Czech Republic. The last part is dedicated to evaluation of smart metering implementation in the Czech Republic.
Utilization of local systems for power system regulation
Kostov, Jiří ; Geschwinder, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s Thesis deals general information about methods of regulation of elektrification systems, including basic principles of regulation of frequency, regulation of voltage and regulation of reactive and active power. Work includes information about aggregate remote control system, power plants that participate on regulation and self device for regulation and controlling of reactive power. Work engages on new options in section of regulation and his requirements for distribution sites. Part of work deals information about renewable natural energy sources and his requirements for distribution sites.
HDO Raman spectrum
Šubr, Martin ; Štěpánek, Josef (advisor) ; Procházka, Marek (referee)
Title: HDO Raman spectrum Author: Martin Šubr Department: Institute of Physics of Charles University Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Josef Štěpánek, CSc., Institute of Physics of Charles University Abstract: The main aim of this thesis is to determine the HDO Raman spectrum. This spectrum cannot be measured separately in its liquid form, but it is possible to obtain it by a specific mathematical processing of sets of measured spectra with different H/D ratios. In this work we measured Raman spectra of liquid water with different mole fractions of water and heavy water, which were evaluated by factor analysis. Except for well-known spectra of water and heavy water, spectrum of HDO was determined. For fitting of this spectrum and its analysis, model with equilibrium constant and linear correction of the spectral shape with respect to the relative ratio of D was used. Keywords: Raman scattering, water and heavy water, HDO, factor analysis
